The service, the places, the planning, and the food. All were much better than expected. We camped for 3 nights, near villages, and it was a great experience.I can’t recommend Discover Omo highly enough.”— Guy Naor
Discover Omo was founded by Biniyam Melese, a local resident with a passion for Ethiopia. Biniyam was born and raised in the Lower Omo Valley town of Jinka. As a young boy, Biniyam loved to show visitors around. Through these experiences, he gained valuable insight into the unique tribal communities surrounding his birthplace. With a lot of effort, he co-founded a local guide association in Jinka, and over time, began to dream about opening a tour company to help promote and preserve the cultures of his country. This dream eventually gave rise to Discover Omo!Now, over 15 years later, Discover Omo is an experienced tour company, dedicated to helping tourists enjoy the beauty of Ethiopia and its people. Come and discover the secrets of this amazing country. We are certain you will not regret it!
