Tour 12: 10 day Western Omo Tour:
Visit the Me’en/Menit/Mekan (Tishena), Dizi and Suri (Chai/T’id, Tirma/Timaga and Baale/Kachipo (the Baale/Kachipo will be visited during dry conditions only)) tribes and visit the local markets as schedule and security allows.
Itineraries are flexible and subject to change, but the standard schedule is as follows:
Day 1: Leave Addis Ababa in the morning, overnight in Jimma
Day 2: Leave Jimma in the morning, overnight in Mizan Teferi
Day 3: Visit the Me’en/Menit/Mekan (Tishena) tribe, overnight in Mizan Teferi
Day 4: Visit the Dizi tribe, overnight in Maji
Day 5: Visit the Suri (Chai/T’id, Tirma/Timaga and Baale/Kachipo) tribe (the Baale/Kachipo will be visited during dry conditions only), camp out overnight
Day 6: Visit the Suri (Chai/T’id, Tirma/Timaga and Baale/Kachipo) tribe (the Baale/Kachipo will be visited during dry conditions only), camp out overnight
Day 7: Visit the Suri (Chai/T’id, Tirma/Timaga and Baale/Kachipo) tribe (the Baale/Kachipo will be visited during dry conditions only), camp out overnight
Day 8: Leave Suri territory in the morning, overnight in Mazan Teferi
Day 9: Leave Mizan Teferi in the morning, overnight in Jimma
Day 10: Leave Jimma in the morning, drop off in Addis Ababa
(leaves everyday at 7:00 AM from Addis Ababa on day 1 and returns to Addis Ababa at 6:00 PM on day 10)
